Agreed. Play most of the shield games before Christmas, then you could play the one day Comp straight after the big bash if you wanted to coincide with when we usually play one day internationals

**** me when did someone bowling 120km/hr pies become the pinnacle of ustralian bowling? If it was Hastings you blokes would be all over him. Hes ******* average at best, a couple tests in england is the besthe can hope for, hes no Alderman but
Take your one eyed redbacks glasses off, dud at this level
I said he in my opinion bowled better than his figures reflected, would not be a walk up start and in the right conditions could be damaging. Maybe put your fu***g reading glasses on.

20 tests 75 wickets at 25 including a test hat-trick
Definitely was hampered by injuries.
I felt he played a bit more than that tbh

Sorry Gren wasnt just directed at you, plenty of others were all over him and reckon he was going all right. And i did agree with you, couple Tests in England is the best he could ever hope for now but no where near the ability of Alderman who was our last decent swing bowler

I reckon Fleming would have been a few kms quicker than Sayers which made him more effective.

Thats how Australia would play it but the saffers will want to get 500 in front, theyre always thinking make sure we cant lose first then go for the win. Id even be surprised if they declared before lunch

Why would they give the aussies the slightest chance? In this case i think there better off being conservative and just batting as they already lead the series, especially with morkel out injured for the second innings.

i would bat 1.5 sessions today and get 500+ in front, and have 5.5 sessions to bowl Australia out
