Fair enough. The end result won't improve the side. Watson is just cannon fodder as a bowler at Test level but will probably be able to contribute the 10-30 run innings Martyn does. Why not pick someone who can perform one of either batting or bowling well rather that a bloke who does neither very well? He sooks pretty well though.

If Flintoff declared earlier, Australia would be bowling to England this morning with a lead and in a good position to win the game. This is the 2nd Test of the Ashes, not a park game...
