Find me all the other players then, who by the age of 22, had taken over 100 first class wickets at an average under 23, while averaging over 27 with the bat as well.

Agree, alot of people are currently bagging alot of selections yet can't put forward any names with better credentials.

Though the Maxwell selection and the ODI Squad is fugged

How did Faulkner stuff up exactly? Yeah he bowled a no ball but the square leg umpire called it a no ball anyway due to Warne being an ignoramus.

Why not play another hour and give teams the full overs if weather allows?

No way did they get screwed by D/L.
They got screwed by Alex Keath. Both teams scored at 10 an over, Keath went for 27 in one over effectively giving the PS an extra 2 overs

I was actually curious at the answer to this question (partly as I was also arguing the same point against Mayz via email) and after a reasonably thorough search on Cricket Archive, the only two other players I could find who met this criteria were

WG Grace and Mushtaq Mohammad. (if you can believe Mushtaq's DOB which there has always been speculation about...)

So proof that Faulkner is one of the 3 greatest allrounders in cricket history!

(and better than Sobers, Kallis, Imran, Hadlee, Botham, S Pollock, Benaud, Miller, Rhodes, Akram, W Armstrong et al!!!)

When is the final of this Tee-ball stuff? Would have to be more entertaining than Australia A.

Nothing wrong with your method
The players you have mentioned are all good cricketers but better suited to longer forms of cricket

I think Perth made a massive blunder in opening with Marcus Stoinis and batting Michael Hussey at 6
It is beyond belief
Hussey strikes at 124 , Stoinis struggles to strike the ball
