Reckon the umpire thought it was bat first, or at least simultaneous. He umpired the traditional way where the batsman gets benefit of any doubt.

Three chop ons this morning. Mitch Marsh was just an awful shot, but the other two suggesting this might not be so easy to bat on now.

Overall our batting is woeful, too many get a start and dont go on with it. Wont make 400 here, game on

This. That spell from Stuart Broad is far and away the best he has bowled all tour.

That being said, aside from the evening spell in Adelaide where Anderson and Woakes were hitting the right areas and causing a fair bit of trouble, none of the English paceman have fired a shot all summer.

9-11 is much of a muchness for mine. I have no problems with the order.
