In the Cricket.com.au and Cricinfo articles I read about Archer's injury it said he suffered the side strain during the Adelaide test and had a scan on it in Melbourne today. He will return to the UK next week to be assessed.dedja wrote:Has a side strain, not sure when he injured it, but if during the match then it explains why he was bowling in the 130’s instead of express in the 2nd dig.
Couldn’t fault his efforts in Adelaide, shame he couldn’t finish the tour.
