All 7 wickets out to pushes at the ball.

Wood bowling very well.

Luckily Stokes kept him off.

Need Cummins to support Carey.
320 would be handy.

Cummins pushes at a ball and is plumb LBW. Thats 8.

The coaching staff in any danger to point this out?

I've woken up to check the score and decided to warch a bit because I must be in alternative universe with Marsh making a hundred lol, what a selection! Mind you England all over Australia, good toss to win so far and the Wood is on fire in Leeds today.

Just watched the highlights and like Warner, Duckett probably didn't need to play at that?

Marsh nicked up Crawley to cap off a great day for him, England 3/68 at stumps, trail by 195.

What happens now if Marsh takes a few wickets too?

Cam might be rested for the rest of the tour

Obviously a great innings by Marsh, such clean hitting all around the ground, and really seemed in control of his innings all the time apart from the Root dropped catch.
All those who played at Lords didn't seem switched on. Whatever it was, too much celebrating, thinking we've already won the Ashes, thinking we were so much better even though they were two close Tests, everyone getting starts but not knuckling down and doing the hard work. Even Khawaja, who did get a really good delivery, I reckon would have seen it off if he was genuinely switched on like he was in the last two Tests

Thought i heard them say that this pitch here doesnt really change much over 5 days ????

Yeah, heard that too, but they also said the next two days were meant to be warm and how dry the pitch, so was expecting a couple of big first innings by both teams. Probably academic now, the Test won't go that far.

Rain forecast on days 3 & 5 could change things.

Well what a day for Mitch Marsh.
All he needs now is a blinder of a catch.

I have not see any of the highlights from last night as yet. However, I am prepared to put my hand up as a Mitch Marsh critic. Well batted Bison.

Take nothing away from England, they sent us in and we were 4 down at lunch. You can paint a scenario any way you want, however if you send a team in they need to be bowled out on the first day for a total under 300 - They did that and are now seriously in the game (Didn’t do it at Lords and it was only a freakish innings that got them so close). Getting 3 wickets claws Australia back in the contest, however we need at least another 3 in tonight first session to be back in this game. Whilst Australia weren’t at their best they also answer back most of the time when the game looks to be getting away from them.
