Still think he dosent deserve to get dropped from the Pura Cup team ?

  F%CK ! They are pretty damning Statistics.
So Why did Blewett Get the Axe when he must have been averaging double that, Bowls and Fields better than Elliot?????????
WTF are the Selectors REALLY Thinking ??????
????

JJ the sad thing is I think Blewy in his last full year of shield was averaging close to TRIPLE what Elliott has dished out..........

and i agree Blewy adds another bowling dimension to the team as well as fielding a lot better.

I guess the selectors feel that Elliott is good with the young kids coming through in teaching them not to play like him and Blewey was probably not the best bloke to be around at the time, but still if he performs on the ground then that is what matters, not what happens in the nets.......etc

Perhaps the selectors are hoping to get some value for all the money dished out with Elliott, if thats the case he would need to score a few triple tons to get even close

An oldie but a goodie :D

That joke is apparently based on a real-life incident when a notoriously bad tail-ender walked out to bat one day ..... or so I recall from a book
In between signatures .....

Looking at yesterdays Grade crickets scores i Noticed that SAs' Top 6 Batsmen from last weeks Pura Cup game Scored the GRAND TOTAL of ........................................................................WAIT FOR IT....................................................................................

................................................................ 26 runs ......................................................................

And Elliot scored 16 of those

All aboard Tassie Next game UNLESS those Peanut Brain Selectors pick Lehman, Deitz and Delmont.

just went down to Adelaide Oval No. 2 to have a look at the 2nd XI game and Deitz is smashing them...72 no when I left and looked in total control...there is one NSW quick who is about 6'6 but was getting belted, I reckon Ive faced quicker bowlers in country cricket

Any other scores from this match Dutchy, especially batting? Why isn't this match covered on the net like most are?

I think the games being played on Adelaide No. 2. It might be more of a logistical problem giving ball by ball coverage.

The Redbacks coaching staff had all the PC's going and a camera set up behnd the sight screen...would have thought they could have sent score updates thru to http://www.cricket.com.au

Possibly Andy Delmont?
He hit 119 in Grade cricket on the weekend, and I reckon he played in the one-dayer as well.

Oh to have the luxury of the Warriors, who had a poor performance with the bat in their Pura Cup opener :
Ins - Hussey, Gilchrist, Hogg
And they still have two high quality batsmen to return, Rogers and North

After the inclusion of Darren Lehmann, what else is to come - more untried or tried and failed players...it all looks very bleek for a long summer of state cricket.

Then you add for the Warriors that their second XI is currently 5/476 vs QAS, with three players making tons, after they bowled QAS out for 168 with ex SA bowler Trent Kelly taking 3/29.

A pretty small in for Tassie this week...

They've recalled an ex-hack who has barely got a game for them over the past few years....

Anyone remember an R T Ponting?? Apparently he's not too bad.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
