I wonder if Kahn wasn't ruled out if they would've dropped R.P.

Won't get dropped now. Been bowling very well...

Australia will struggle to reach 200 now, especially if Symonds gets out soon.

He very well may have been dropped but luckily for India he wasn't. Has bowled superbly.

Aus 6/148 now.

Anything over 250 will be a good score for the Aussies now although as long as Symonds is in they will be thinking 300 plus. Hogg also looking quite comfortable and can bat so who knows.

Symonds very very lucky. Massive nick behind somehow given not out. What was Bucknor thinking?

That's 3 big nicks today that have been missed. Ponting nick behind given not out. Ponting massive nick onto his pads yet given out LBW. Symonds big nick behind given not out. Very very poor umpiring.

disappointing in what has been so far an absorbing days cricket that there have been 3 very obvious umpiring errors that were clearly visable after a quick replay- the sooner we use technology properly the better

Correct. IMO it works both ways for the fielding and batting sides.
Bucknor must be about 95 now, so his hearing & sight must be shot not to see or hear that...

Hogg c. Dravid b. Kumble 79

Super knock from Hogg. 173 run stand with Symonds has put Australia in a very good position now. Were in all sorts of strife when the 6th wicket fell.
