Will be interesting if Laxman bats at 4 or 5.

Laxman listed to come in at 6. Poor move IMHO. He should bat at three and have Dravid come in at 6 given current form.

I dont know about that, What is Dravid going to achieve batting at 6? He needs time to get going especially since he has struggled a bit of late. I would like to see Laxman at 5 and Ganguly at 6.

Remember they have strengthened the batting with Dhoni at 7. Pathan at 8 and Kumble at 9. I dont think they will collapse too quickly.

good call pup- dravid is a natural 3 and has averaged 60 in test cricket batting mainly in this position- the guy is a star and will get runs this match IMO

Give Tait a bowl! Johnson and Clark aren't troubling them too much.

Sehwag is one of the best batsmen in the world to watch when in good form.

Oh dear. Johnson gets a wicket. That will only encourage Ponting to bowl him more

I cannot stand watching Johnson continually bowling so wide of off stump. Just ridiculous.

LUNCH
IN 2/74
TENDULKAR 13*[21]
DREARYVID 2* [17] another epic classic Drearyvid start zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

MJ 1/16[8]
LEE 1/32 [7]
CLARK 0/14 [7] an unluckier spell you will rarely see
TAIT 0/8 [2]

There were agreements made before this game started between.

***Catches to be referred to the 3rd ump if the field umps have a doubt.[made public]

The other is not public but must be
*** No fast short pitched bowling at the Indians with the new ball or they will catch a plane home at stumps ???

The bowling seemed to be
at the stumps
at the edge

It should be
at the f....g throat
at the edge

The use of one of the worlds most lethal NEW BALL bowlers in the universe was bewildering.
Shaun TAIT bowled too late in my opinion
This attack would be far better balanced if LEE/TAIT opened up + MJ/CLARK as change bowlers

BETTING LUNCH

TEAM.........TAB......BETFAIR

AU ............$1-43.....$1-55
IN..............$7-00.....$7-60
DR.............$4.25......$4-40

Expect the aussies to take 3 wickets next session, Clark the likely wicket taker
IN 5/153 is my prediction at tea

Im getting a bit sick of everyones seeming lack of respect for this champion batsman. Hes struggling for form and hes working his butt off for his country. As Mark Taylor put it last test "Hes not too proud to bat ugly, he is batting slowly and poorly but is still contributing- thats probably why he has played 15 years of international cricket"

India arent losing because they arent scoring quick enough.

I cant believe that after lunch hes not givin him ( Tait ) a go with the wind. If hes gonna use him as a line and length bowler he has got some really bad information !!!
It is what it is !!!
