NSW get McCullum for 20/20 Final!

NSW have got McCullum as he now qualifies for the Champs League. If the Kolkata Knightriders dont qualify (to whom he is signed) then he can represent NSW. Yes he can play this weekend but big picture is he now can play in the big $$ comp in October. Stand by for Vics to do something similar...

Pure Bullshit that they can bring in a player for the Grand Final

Im tipping this will backfire though and the Vics will tear them a new one 8)

I am sure all the NSW players are happy because he could potentially help them earn some big$$$$$ when the champions league comes around.

Which NZ player will sign for Victoria?

Jacob Oram is my guess.

How is it different to Redbacks recruitment of Tanveer for the few games he was available? The fact it is a final is irrelevant, IMO. If it improves the cricket we see, then it's all good.

I have particular problems with the player coming in just for the final.... Tanveer and Gull came and played lead up games and im sure if available and their state was in the final they would have played. But to boost your team for 1 game and leave a player out is p*ss weak.

Spot on. These players are a part of the TEAM for the competition not just hired guns for the final

And when the Southern Premier League kicks off, one team now has first crack at this particular cricketer. Smart move, good luck to them, IMO.

exactly, this is the only competition I know of where there is no qualification rule, even in our grade of cricket you need to play at least 6 weeks to qualify

Daniel Smith doesn't care about missing out on a game as long as he gets a share on the $1 million + available for the champions league. If McCullum gets that for him he couldn't give a rats toss bag.

Speaking of NSW insanity, where's Skull and his calls for Moses Henriques to be in the Test team? Or even that young pace bowler who I don't think has even played a game for NSW to be in the Ashes squad?

The clown should've been sacked immediately when he called Dale Steyn nothing but a fast pie chucker prior to the start of this tour.
