The saffers dropped some sitters but good on the pakis. Feel sorry for them. Most of them are good cricketers being paid peanuts and playing away from home cant be easy. Unfortunately they have been tarnished by a few bad eggs.

Surely paul harris and hauritz are the worst bowlers in world cricket

SA 380

SA 2/318
PA 3/343

25 wickets
1289 runs

Keep this up and only the food vendors and gate staff will roll up and watch the games in this part of the planet

380 is an under-par score in today's cricket and 248 is well under par. I couldn't see why the Paki's didn't play a bit more aggressive, they required 5 and a bit an over, had 7 wickets in hand and two set batsmen at the crease. I thought a result was well and truly achievable.

Blame the saffers they dropped early sitters and shouldve declared half an hour earlier. Setting them 450 to win was never going to be an option for the pakis. Glad to see those saffer tossers not win

Fair call Mal, I take it Sir Garfield is your number 1, either that or you are too young to have seen him. Some people argue that he is the greatest cricket ever (Sir Garfield that is). Only ever played against the big nations and finished with Test Average over 50 and 200 + wickets, plus freakist fielder. For some reason Aussies don't rate Kallis that highly, never seemed to be talked about, but huge record based on stats alone.

I thought Smith may have given him 4 or 5 more overs for a chance to get his triple
there are still 27 overs left in the day so plenty of time

I was a bit perplexed
THE DEV passed SMITHS runs, then MORKEL faced 3 balls
Why not declare b4 those 3 balls

Also the way THE DEV was batting, why not let him go for the malgical triple ton
Fast cheap first innings runs are easier than starting again in the 2nd dig
THE DEV made 55 runs of the last 24 balls faced , do the sums how long b4 he gets to 300 at that rate

Cricket needs players getting triple tons, it highlights what a great sport it is, and a great advertisement to the sport
By declaring we have all been deprived of what might have been

MOST RUNS SA

278* THE DEV
277 SMITH
275* WARNEYS BUNNY
275 CURRENT INDIAN COACH
274 GRAHAM POLLOCK The greatest south african of them all
259 SMITH

THE DEV also joined the 100 in a session brigade of players

As long as they don't mature into cheats, PAK have had two debutants in this game:

Tanvir Ahmed (31) 6-120 opening the bowling
Asad Shafiq (24) batting six, is 38 not out at tea, struck three fours off of Botha's last over (penultimate to the interval).
