Yep the ball seems a major issue but the authorities seem to be over looking this in the chase for cash!!!

Im all for the day night test matches but they have to get these ball right on different styles of pitches before even contemplating playing but it doesn't look like they will

They only had to listen to the feedback from the most important stakeholders in all of this THE PLAYERS! Shield players were far from impressed with the trials.....Who ever is batting under lights is going to shut up shop and in Adelaide that is going to an absolute borefest. Think all Redback matches under lights have been draws from memory....

I thought there was a result in the game last season. I also thought the bone of contention was it would be over too quick.

I stand by the fact I think its fantastic. If it doesn't work I will stand corrected but I'm hoping for a cracking event and if it's a close game that lasts 4 days and batsmen don't have it all their own way that's fine with me.

If it does work it's going to an epic test even if it doesn't I'm going to be at the first day night test at my favourite venue watching my favourite team playing test cricket. I can't help but be excited and I'm not surprised that people get speculative when major changes take effect.

My favourite bit in this article is this:

Marsh’s biggest deficiencies at Test level have been handling the ball when it is swinging on and around his off stump, and getting himself past 20 or 30.

Fairly big deficiencies, at test level...

Wasn't there a game where Botha won it on maybe the last over of the day?

I too think it's fantastic and worth trying. I'm. Im not a member but I'll 100% make sure I'll be there for at least a day.

If you don't know the reason why they would want to try this there is probably no point explaining it
