TAYLOR is very very very very very very very impressive 38[43]
My observations are he is dynamite of his stumps thru the leg side.
He bats very much like Daniel HARRIS from SA.

______________________________________________________________
AU need to bowl outside off stump with a deep offside sweeper, he is
a bit loose on off stump.
________________________________________________________________
Looks a contender in MALS next generation stable.

TAYLOR OUT as nostraMALdamus suggested get off his pads and bowl outside off stump
TAYLOR 84[82] what a innings is he the re-incarnation of PIETERSON. :?:
NZ 4/161
well done JOHNSON great wicket, a potential matchwinning wicket

PS TAYLOR really enjoys Leg spin as well

5/164 Craig Mc V illan sacrifices his wicket once again, a waste of talent this guy.

AH get off the WHITE critiscism.
PIETERSON smashed him
TAYLOR smashed him.
When he bowled to FRANKLIN guess what a wicket !
Give him time, like all spinners at 23 yo to develop.
He might not make the grade as a spinner, let time exposure and experience see to that.
You have no comment about his batting I noticed.

AU 8/289
NZ all out 184

NZ will improve when they get a few players back.
EG will pieter out.

as the rest of the world live in hope that theyt can finally catch Australia (due to the recent retirements)

Australian Cricket just keep bringing fantastic young players through, this is a credit to our state level competition

Australian Cricket has a bit of freshness about it at the moment, this is really exciting, I'm really looking forward to the next 18 months of cricket

I think the point of the uniforms is both teams wore dark uniforms on a darkish green field at night. Not enough brightness.

Why? He cannot bowl. And this coming from someone who never misses a chance to get stuck into a genuine bowler like Lee.

Go back and read my comments about White. I have never altered my opinion. I have been saying over and over that he needs to throw his bowling in the bin where it belongs (because it stinks) and concentrate on his batting. Get himself batting 3 or 4 for Victoria, and push claims as a genuine BATSMAN.

Whilst he is hanging onto a spot in the team as an all-rounder, his bowling isn't good enough, and the moment he has a few outs he will get dropped. Finding Aussie players to make 45 and getting thumped with the ball are not hard to find.

And he will never make the grade at Test level as a spinner, so he needs to stick to his strength.

He reminds me a little of Ian Chappell. Chappell used to think he was a leggie. He was handy at best, but still better than White because at least he could loop and turn the ball. However, Chappell's batting was average until he took a few thumpings and gave the bowling away. From that moment on his batting improved out of sight.

Do you think White has taken Hogg's spot permanently? We don't really need two full time spinners even thogh Hogg has not dne anything wrong. For me the top seven is set for the World Cup with White batting at seven while we might take one extra batsman in the squad.

I think our tale is a bit long perhaps Watson if fit could bat at 8 then with three quicks. That would give us a long batting order and a fair attack with three pace bowlers along with Watson and White as the all rounders.

White is a very good one day cricketer. Batting is clearly his strength but his bowling at times can be useful in short spells. All of what i have said applies only to the one day game. Not a test cricketer IMHO. Bowling simply is not up to it and it never will be. He is a good hitter but this alone doesn't make a good Test batsman. Way too many guys in front of him as Test batsmen.

Brett LEE bowled extremely well in the 5th test.
I will praise LEE when he does bowl well.
I got that opportunity for the very FIRST time this summer in the 5th test.

LEE is the best o/d bowler in the world.

There you are it took all season but I DO and WILL acknowledge LEEs performances.
At this stage of his career he is without doubt underperforming if you cant see that
then you know very little about cricket.
Dont do a poll either AH you will get embarrased.

If WHITE makes 100 of 90 balls
and takes 5/25 off 10 overs
you would still find a way to bag him.
