I find it hard to see how shouting 10 9 8 7 .. .2 1 is breaking any rules. sure throwing heavy things in the air like a moron deserves eviction, however how does starting a wave break any laws at all.

if someone at the bdo got poked in the eye during a slow clap, should the police have a policy of kicking out anyone starting a slow clap? sure kick out the f'wits throwing bottles of beer, but dont throw people out trying to enjoy themself. I just dont follow the logic of kicking people out for starting something that SOME people use to be a dickhead.

Ive got no worries with CA deciding on its own crowd policies, however unless people breaking those policies are also breaking the law I dont think the police should be enforcing them.

The police have a right to enter any sporting event, and also eject anyone from the ground they deem necessary. They have always had that right.

True Hawk - Without getting too technical (and commenting with experience), sporting grounds are public places covered by mainstream public order statutes in addition each major ground has it's own ratified statute regulations which are acts of law and give the Police additional authorities outside mainstream public order acts such as the Summary Offences Act. The regulations also empower servants and agents i.e. Security Officers and staff working at those venues.

Some of the crap written on this topic may not have been posted if people did some research before making sweeping statements about who can or can't do what.

I suppose that means me BRPBB? You still haven't commented tho on the issue of police being PAID to enforce CA rules and I'd like to know if the ratified statute regulations include the Mexican Wave.
