I think we go to India after this???? That will be very, very tough to keep the winning streak alive.

Still, I reckon the Aussies are a chance to chase down anything up to 400

To West Indies after this Hondo

What in the world is going through Laxmans head?????

They gave them a single on the second last ball of Lees second last over and he said no then didnt score off the last. Then in Lees last over the field was out for the last ball and they still did not take a single..!!!! Every run is still needed.

Records are made to be broken. If there is any side that can chase down that total in world cricket it would be the modern day Australian side.

The old Steve Waugh comment comes to light, "You should bat as you normally would and if the other batsman can't face the bowling, well he shouldn't be playing....".Showing how much confidence he had in his team D.Flemming recently said that once on a turning deck in India he joined Steve Waugh at the crease with Australia in all sorts of trouble.Waugh told Flemming to "Face 30 balls, get your eye in and back your defence and don't worry about the blokes fielding under your nose". No wonder the bloke was captain of 1 of (If not the best) Test side to ever have played the game. Had beleif in every one of his players and backed them.

Laxman out to Lee.

India have set Australia 413 to win.

What an oppurtunity for both sides.

Exact same for Jacques. Ridiculous shot, I've got no idea what he was trying to do.

Wow, Jacques out.

India must be short priced to win now.

From what I've seen I can summarise the test as such:

Rogers - will be ok but looks a bit suspect to a swinging ball early
Tait - captain has no faith in him
Tait - perhaps not fit
Tait - perhaps trying too hard
Hussey - out of form
Jacques - not in stellar form
Ponting - not in form
Clarke - not in form
Rauf - going by Bucknor, should be run out of the country!
India - bowling very well and to a good plan IMO

Anyway, my 2 cents worth....

Katich should have opened. If there was a long term spot available then Rogers was the man but for a one of test match Katich's experience would have been more value IMHO.

Katich doesn't have the technique to open at test level IMO.

You say the same about Rogers. Katich in better form and already has experience in Test cricket. The best option for a one off Test.
