Yes, 8 wickets.

Smith and Usman combine for unbeaten 40's and 30's respectively, nice boost to their stats. 8)

That's Fergs' biggest hurdle, he doesn't get to face SA in matches.

Very unfair unwarranted criticism of Graham Manou lads
Im tipping that if he would have wanted to bat for the team, but was obviously totally incapaticitated

A broken toe would rate with one of the most painfull off all injuries
You cant even walk as you are putting pressure on the joint
If you have a broken jaw [Rick Mckosker centenary Test] you can take pain killers, but with facial/arm injuries you are not stepping on the injury

Wicketkeepers are the most courageuos of all cricketers
They carry dislocated and broken fingers, and suffer from the constant thudding of the ball on gloves
And almost all these keepers play on despite the pain

Look at Smith against the Aussies in Sydney, that was courage, Manou, it shows why I'm glad you're no longer captain.

Not to mention it was Horry and Smith bowling, not like a quick coming steaming in!

Spot on. Manou may be the best keeper in the state but he has failed to prove to me that he ever has or will put team before self (state).

A keeper needs his toes and needs them to heal as quick as possible - they get a reasonable work out. If it were a final, I have no doubt he'd have batted.

PG, even worse, at least with quicks you can prop on the back foot, if you can't move your front foot against the spinners, goodnight Irene.

Good news for the young SACA's defeated REB's blue baggers by 40 odd in U19 carnival. From memory probably first time we have beaten them for some years at this level.

No longer on the Manou band wagon, his decision today was all for himself and not the side, I know of Test cricketers that have gone out and batted with broken toes and even fingers, Jaws & ribs, just wondering if he knows about broken toes, I broke mine 28 years ago from a sandshoe crusher and it is still broken, they do heal but as soon as you knock them they break again, all i can say is toughen up Princess ;)

Manou you are soft as f**k

and yes i have played with a broken toe and am currently still playing with it 2 months after it happened, these things heal them selves and you cant spend 24 7 sitting down.

Manou is weak for not batting, couldve at least tried to help save the game, worst case he faces an over and gets out, but still 5 or so minutes longer we delay the loss.

Who cares about his toe, he obviously going to be out of the side anyway because of it, batting isnt going to change that.

Might be the blessing SA needed, Ludeman might take this chance and set the state alight..
