A good mornings bowling by the Aussies. Yesterday was a bit hit and miss and we got some luck but when you lose the toss at adelaide oval you need a bit of luck. The Kiwi's wont be happy with 270 on a lovely Adelaide oval deck. Redmond should of had 100 and well Ryder and Fulton should have done better. But still they were fantastic catches to dismiss them.

Anyway good luck to Matt Hayden batting in 100th test match. I wish him all the best.

I really hope Matty Hayden can make a nice hundred, on his 100th Test. I have said this before and i will say this again, he is my favourite player and is a joy to watch and IS THE BEST opener in AUSTRALIA.

Good luck Matty, all the best.

Totally agree but would have to say on the flip side, if he fails on a beautiful day 2 Adelaide Oval against a fairly mediocre attack he could be gone.

Thats a fair comment. If you cant handle the Kiwi's on the beautiful adelaide oval then there is no way you could handle the South Africans on the WACA.

Over 10.1: Vettori to Hayden, no run, OUT, oh no! tradegy! Hayden defends to mid on and takes off for one, Katich is watching the ball and they end up at the non-strikers end, Hayden tries to get back but McCullum whips the bails off

Hayden run out for 24.
I suggested a bad innings could be the end for him, he only made 24 but does the fact he was run-out and not dismissed as such work in his favour with the selectors.

IMHO bad running is bad batting.

i haven't seen the run out, but it seems to be like it's Katich's fault, unlucky for Hayden......

Its an interesting one isn't it, how many times can you be unlucky before the selectors just simply say you haven't hit enough runs.

I feel for Hayden at the moment because i still believe he has a lot to offer the Australian test team, and luck is definately not on his side, hopefully he can a massive 2nd innings if the Aussies do have to bat again.

I can see the Aussies hitting 550+
