Here's me thinking Smith's 140, Pat's 90 runs and six wickets in the 4th test and Boland's MOM (10 wickets) and Websters 80 odd runs on debut were the reasons why we won the last two tests.

Nup, it was a bloke who batted for barely 120 balls

In the words of Sargent Schultz, "I know nothing!!"

Is that the Test we won by nearly 200 runs?

Yeah 190 is nearly 200 and the next one was won by six wickets.....

But I'm sure Konstas' had the biggest increase in followers on Insta *am bays crosses arms downwards and makes a ducklips face* so he was the most successfull....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We're completely lost at the top of the order before a 5 Test Ashes series, 3 weeks from the first Test we don't know which player we're either recycling, batting out of position or debuting all with a 38 year at the other end who we also need to replace. Great success!

What is your solution that we are this predicament 3 weeks from the first test ??

Keep playing Mcsweeney ??

Im not having a go, but Once Warner retired it was always going to be tough to find a replacement.

Obviously not

After being 7/89 the innings before with bumrah killing us to have a debutant come out and play that innings would have had a massive boost for the changeroom, definitely did for Khawaja you could see it on the broadcast. Even the crowd were up and about more than usual for Boxing Day.

It might not of won us the match but only an idiot would say that performance a failure on any level.

You know test cricket is equal parts stats equal parts winning key moments and did that on two crucial occasions in his four innings which went some way to the series win and much more than the cricketer before him did.

And in the other matches Queensland and NSW played out an inevitable draw, SA Footy favourite Kontas made 41 in NSW's second innings and Victoria won by 144 runs with O'Neill taking 4/54 from 25 overs.
