How many more lives adcock will get. He has made hardly any runs for SA in the last 10 years. Only made a couple of big scores last year. Lucky to make 50 runs in 4 pura cup hits.

Time for the SACA to just accept he is simply not good enough to play first class cricket and admit they made a mistake in giving him the captaincy. He cannot justify a place in the side. :twisted:

On that pitch and with RT Ponting in the Tassie side they could chase down 400 in a day. Having said that our only chance to win is to give them a sniff and hope they lose quick wickets taking risks.

Adcocks promotion to Captain is the redbacks worst since the recruitment of Damien Fleming. I don't care that he's a Lawyer, i don't care how smart he is and I don't care what College that he went to, he's simply not a first class batsman.

At least Fleming had a proven record and had ability. Not saying Adcock doesn't have ability but it isn't up to first class level. Fleming didn't work out but at least he had the potential to work out.

Watched him in a couple of district games and he struggled to get bat onto ball in those innings as well. Reckon a few on here would be just as good if not betta
