Which incident was that heater, I can't remember it.
I thought the players till walked through the crowd to get onto the oval?

Don't think it was overly publicised at the time. I recall a hullabaloo one year and security were called and someone was removed. The following year that structure was installed.

It's more about spectators in close proximity to players (presumably members) needing to adhere to a higher standard.

You compare what this spectator said versus the comments being said on the AO Hill once the drinks kick in at its chalk and cheese.

100% agree

Players expect to cop a bit of crap within reason during the game out on the field BUT once theyre OFF the field whether its after the game or during a break it's completely unacceptable they cop any harassment from anyone especially at such close quarters and good on them for calling the bloke out.
If a spectator in the crowd cops a mouthfull from a drunk yobbo next to them, they're not going sit by and take it so why should the players?

Utter Flogs these people that heap abuse at players off the field and should be banned from attending games.

Didn’t the spectator just yell out ‘boring’?

Or am I missing something here?

It’s hardly abuse

The draw is paying $6.25 which is bloody good value considering if we lose a few then you can bet anything we will shut up shop and let any rain take us off in a flash.

British Tabloids I can imagine getting the presses set for 3 stories when the Test is completed

If EG win : Victory for Bazball the exciting new wave of cricket
If AU win : Bazball fails against quality nations
Draw due to rain : Global Warming is over-rated

Bay 13 and the old Sydney hill also spring to mind.

Just keep walking, acknowledging dickheads is lowering yourself to their level.

I’ve had a few dead rubbers that have kept me on the edge of my seat for a while
