Hard to see how we will have much impact from here. We have class bowlers but you cannot win games with just two batsmen... take ingram and careys scores and add 50 and that will be our tally. Weatherald and Lehmann have been very poor. Nobody in the wings to step up.

 I always wondered that too, he vehemently hates Ferguson with a passion.

Nothing to do with the misses

As far as 'shit bloke sportsmen' go he is top of my list closely followed by Adam Zampa who from my experience has pulled his head in a bit since getting picked in the ODI

Anyone don't believe go spend a few Sunday afternoons at the cumby hotel and you will see and here pretty quickly

Ferguson has never been popular with the norther burbs boys

You will never meet a nicer bloke than Callum Ferguson, absolute gentleman. Would do anything for you, always polite and respectful. Just total disrespect and garbage from whufc, but predictable and typical by him.

Says more about him and the "northern burb boys" than Ferg,, and majority of people now just see straight through his motives!

His motives are to just continually bag Ferguson no matter what. He went too far this time getting personal though.

I have actually said recently that he has been batting well. Do I believe he had a bit of a golden ticket, yes yes I do

He has been been dropped after one test, he has been shipped to 3 different bbl teams (despite a solid t20 record) he has been in a squad for 10 years but has been looked over as captain by many different coaches and for players such as Nathan Adcock and nappy wearing Travis Head

My experiences with Ferg are different to yours, my comments about his cricket are no different to other constantly bagging the Marshes, constantly bagging any New South Welshman who get a game for Australia

You obviously like him etc etc that's fine just because I don't believe his a golden boy is allowed

He was probably unfortunate to be dropped after that one test, and in fact he was probably lucky to get the call up in the first place.

As for the BBL teams, what a load of waft - players chop all the time. He wasn't the right fit at the time at the Strikers, with better hitting options available, and from memory he got injured during his time with the Renegades - who also had a pretty reasonable batting lineup.

SA - just because he hasn't bene a captain doesn't mean squat, plenty of good players don't make successful captains and vice versa. Don't understand how that's a reflection on him as a person though.

Agree Bedge, well said.

I don't have a problem as such whufc with you not rating Ferg as a player, you are right, everyone can have an opinion. But you got personal and intimated he is not a great person which is totally inaccurate.

He went to Thunder as they offered him the chance to bat in top 4 which he wanted, plus a three year deal on more money. Nothing more than that and most players would do the same thing.

T20 probably isn't his game, he's more of a worker that goes at 90 to 110 rotating the strike.

Can't really agree with the captaincy thing either, I think it was a parting gift for the Redbacks as Chuck was clearing out his locker, I think it would've been a different story if they changed both roles at the same time.

Shows how bad the BBL is, when Ferg gets a 3 year deal.
