Lazy batting by both Ussie and Warner. It's as if their minds were already on facing spinners. Can't blame the pitch for either dismissal

When you're late on straight one's hitting off stump opening for your country isn't for you. #warnerout

Matthew Hayden saying on Fox that the non selection of Travis Head has left him flabbergasted and the most perplexing selection he has ever seen.

Hard to argue.

With both Australian disMissALs of Khawaja and Warner , the ball was missing leg stump

To be fair anyone would be exhausted after posting 19, 0, 26, 16, 2 and 36. in January in the BBL. He also had to shower and dress for the awards night. He has only had 13 days to recover as well. But you won't hear a word out of him.

To be fair I think Heads BBL scores were even worse

Not that it should have any effect on test cricket here

Warner was plain unlucky, you don't expect a straight ball to be heading towards the wickets in the 2nd over of a test match.

That was missing leg stump or at best clipping it

That's what that 2 pound 10 piece of wood in his hands is for.
