Edit: Sehwag is looking for an early departure here.

You don't rate Johnson? He's been pretty impressive this series. Was a bit down in the last test but has been our best bowler.

The selectors need to go. That is so far from our best bowling attack it's not funny.

Instead of playing 4 pacemen (our BEST team from the squad we have left ourselves with), we have picked 2 MEDIOCRE spinners. Infuriating.

Another one long yawn of a test coming up.
The BBCI are a Joke and are Killing Test cricket by getting their groundsman to produce 'One day ' style pitches for Test matches which ultimatley end in Draws. No wonder their Crowds are Shit house.

Commentator "It's a lovely stadium..."

It's also an empty stadium which is all the pitch deserves. For those without access to the tv coverage, it cannot be adequately conveyed in words how terrible it is.

1. Shocking crowd, as usual. And India love their cricket.

2. Shocking pitch, as usual.

3. Boundaries are killing us.

4. How can a regulation edge not carry to the keeper/slip on the first monring of the test?

So we debut our third ass clown of the series; after C White and P Siddle...
If he follows in their footsteps, at least he'll get Sachin out...

For a pitch that offered absolutely nothing, I thought Siddle did okay.

Worst attack I've seen since SPOD and Dave Gilbert opened for Australia back in the bad old days. Shane Watson coming on to bowl in the NINTH OVER of a Test Match! Absolutely ******.

Agreed NFC. I don't think he is ready for Test cricket yet but he will be a good bowler in time.

Maybe but I tell you what, given how Lee and Johnson have started Watto might open the bowling in the second innings.

Yeah Siddle looked alright. Give him a year or two and a pitch that isn't a total laughing stock and he should be a handy player.

Krezja has been taught a lesson in his first over of Test cricket.

12.6 Krejza to Sehwag, no run
12.5 Krejza to Sehwag, SIX, And again. A forward stride. Furious swing of the bat. Blink. The ball disappears over long-on.
12.4 Krejza to Sehwag, FOUR, There goes Sehwag. Left leg out and he thrashes the flighted delivery over the bowler's head. Oh he is going after the debutant. Cruel man.
12.3 Krejza to Vijay, 1 run, leans forward, taps a flighted delivery to mid-off and rushes across for a single
12.2 Krejza to Vijay, no run, leans forward to push to the off side
12.1 Krejza to Vijay, no run, floated on the off stump line, defended back down the track
