All out 389. Great fight back again by Redbacks. George 8/72 wow wow wow what a brilliant performance. But Cowan 225 on debut would have to be one of the best debut knocks of all time wouldnt it?
Go you Redbacks, I'm tipping a Klinger double ton :D no pressure or anything :?

Debut for tassie, but FC debut was back in 2003, great knock tho i agree, to be 3/28 and make 225, magic, georges 8/82 tho was brilliant!

he has been playing for tassie all season - this is his fourth game fro them. th eclosest thing to a debut i sthat it is his first game at bellreive for tasmania

Klinger made 32.

Take out Ed and Marsh, the rest of their team made 63 plus 11 extra's, unfortunately we can't though.

Over 41.1: Krejza to Cosgrove, no run, forward defence as Cosgrove gives some thought to the scones and jam at the Tea break

Lets go back to the SA V VI o/d game
GEORGE after his 10 overs 0/16 v QL was dropped for the next o/d game
WYCBLOODS/MAYZ/COVER KING/MAL were posting what a daft dropping that wuz

OK his o/d form has been ordinary with a lack of wickets [averages over 100]
But to replace an up and comer with a guy who is older with an average over 100 as well was a stupid selection

Thank goodness he was kept for SS games at least

TA 389
strike bowler GEORGE 8/84
almost strike bowler HABERFIELD 1/95
part time bowlers 1/204

I guess the inevitable will happen
Now that GEORGE has taken a sensational 8/84 he will get axed next SS game

SA 2/103 TEA
DOC 40*
COSI 15*
I must be seeing things BORGAS is listed to bat in front of MANOU !!!! ;)

Cossie hits 4 fours in the first over after tea to move to 31*

Hopefully these two can bat the rest of the day!

Great effort there by Peter George, hopefully this gets him a game in the next ODD game. SHould never have been dropped as MAL said.

Surprise surprise, you'd think by now the SA coach may have told Cossie to build partnerships rather than smashing everything to the fence

Better then nothing though! Its his game to hit boundaries, its just he has to learn to bat for longer periods of times!

Cosgrove is physically incapabable of batting long periods and building partnerships. 75 minutes at the crease is about as long as he can last, so he has to blast boundaries while he's there. Not good enough for a number 4, but what can you do? Biggest waste of space in 1st class cricket.

BTW, the SA coach doesn't "tell" Cosgrove anything. Cossie does what Cossie wants to do, listens to nobody, and for some reason gets away with it.

And you know this how??

Biggest waste of space in 1st class cricket is Shaun Tait and no one else is close!

If he was bowled going for a cut shot I would be concerned.
He is a batsman ffs and batsmen are there to make runs.
Up until Cossie got to the crease they were scoring at just over 2 runs an over.
SA need to play for outright not first innings points.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

First Class Cricket is too much like hard work for Tait so your statement is flawed. I agree with the premise though.
