Still batting 9/260 India
NZ must be rueing thier selections
2 fast bowlers
2 spinners
1 inocious larger than life part time slow meduim pacer

One fast bowler gets injured, the larger than lfe bowler injured
That leaves
1 fast bowler
2 spinners
2 wicketkeepers .....

How can they select HOPKINS and MCCULLUM in the same team ?

2nd test pick another bowler
OR
5/15
can become 9/260 all over again

PS
Mcullum is into his 2nd spell with the ball ....

McCullum out for 4 caught dhoni bowled sreesanth! Absolute cracker!

Guptill then out to the same combination, to make it 2-23! Called back because it was a no-ball! Sreesanth follows up with another cracker and guptill plays and misses

Suresh Raina has replaced Yuvraj Singh in the Grade A level - the highest - of the BCCI's list of central contracts for 2010-11. Virat Kohli, M Vijay and Pragyan Ojha have moved up to Grade B, while Rohit Sharma has been demoted to C. RP Singh and Munaf Patel, who were previously in Grade B, have not been offered contracts.

Sachin Tendulkar needs 466 runs in the next 4 Test matches this calender year to break the calender year record
The record is currently held by Yousef
Tendulkar will have to face the South Africans after the Kiwis series

QUESTION
Will the little master make the runs ?

It would take a brave man to bet against Tendulkar! I will be watching that India vs SA series closely. If Bollinger and Martin can trouble Indian batsmen on slow, crappy, dead sub-continent wickets, facing Steyn & Morkel on the 'Green Mamba' will be very, very interesting!

Sehwag's wick description
It was a flighted delivery on the middle stump and he went down on his knee for the big slog sweep. Whoosh. The bat went through thin air and the ball went past it to fall on the middle stump

NZ 350
IN 9/436
SINGH 85*
SREESANTH 14*
VET 4/123 [45] bowled very well

Despite his recent golden run of runs he still averages less than 20 in Test Cricket

SINGH has now made 69,115,85 not out in this series
He is a very enetertining batsman to watch
He can defend and can then attack with his array of allsort strokes
He is averaging about 129.5 this series

The NZ quicker bowlers bowled a lot of short pitched deliveries at the Indian tail
Sreesanth was struck 3 times in one over by Southee

Ross Taylor was used as the 5th bowler
One of the reasons why NZ cant finish of the last 2 Indian innings in this series is becoz of thier stoopid selection policy of picking Hopkins and Mccullum, 2 keepers in the line up
Mccullum a very good limited overs batsman, is not a frontline opening Test Batsman in my opinion
They should go for broke and select another bowler

PS
Thank goodness for this last wicket stand it gets me within 114 of my predicition

IN 472
SINGH 111* [116]
Singh makes back to back 100s batting at 8
Just shows why sub continent batters have high averages
Singh now averages almost 150 this series
VETTORI 5/135[49.4]

NZ 350
NZ 1/131
MCCULLUM 73* [101]

NZ lead by 9 runs
