Why did we declare?
Keep the pricks in the field for 2 days because I can guarantee the Indians will use this as batting practice

Agree Jim, and Coops second double hundred of the year could have made him a strong case (not that he didn't do that anyway) for Test selection...

Or next time we are in India they would do the same thing. They are supposed to be a warmup for the visitors and as a benefit for the hosts they get to expose a bunch of new players to national team players.

In my opinion no. Khan's fitness is not determined as yet and P.Kumur is injuried. Then the next fast man in line, Aaron I think it was is also injuried and not here.

I want him in but not necessarily sealed it, if Watson plays Hughes goes out, Could be the only change to the batting line up.
