Darren Sammy, never ever rated him, a miss more than hit hack and a pop gun slow pacemen that always seems to go the journey and never takes bags of wickets. Belted tonight.

Doug the Rug has done it again. Fields like an 8 year old girl. Cost his team the game in true Spud X1 tradition.

Did we expect anything else from Flintoff? Was always an average bowler who had 1 series where he got wickets when needed. At his best he was a powerful, bustling type and now after a few years off and a bunch of injuries he was never going to get his body to the crease the same way. But he only has to come off a couple of times with the bat, give a few not diabolical overs a game and he's worth playing.

Maxwell shouldn't be in this discussion at all. Widely considered the best fielder in the country, bowls regularly and when his batting is on he'll just win you games. No doubt hasn't had a great series but when you add the entire value of his bowling, batting and fielding he's clearly doing more than blokes who bat 6 or 7 and don't bowl.

226 test wickets at 32 is a little better than average. Prolly the second best English all rounder ever.

I do agree that he was always going to struggle here, looks a bit unfit and relies on strength through the crease which would be harder to bowl quick than someone like lee who has a better technique.
