Pretty impressive to get over the line away with no Taity and Hodge

South Aussie isn't he? Made a few runs in the one Dayers earlier in the year too

Plays club cricket for Kensington. Limited overs specialist. Yet to play a Shield match.

Super impressed with Trav's knock. Couldn't get it off the square at the start.

Hodge back next game?
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

He said he had a broken ulna and is hoping to be back if the strikers make the finals, which would be a big turnaround

Mark my words, Hodge is zero chance of returning this year. Needs a plate inserted 6-8 weeks minimum.

Its the same arm he broke in July in the West Indies. He is hoping that they only need to strengthen the plate/rod already in his arm. Didn't indicate that it was broken again.

I have noticed that they picked some BBL players to play in teh primne ministers XI. Can a player refuse to play so they can play BBL? surely the money and the contracts involved in BBL would outweigh some practice match that no one will take any note of. Very happy we havent been hurt by this match like we have in the past.

Some how Maxwell got picked... i thought he would have been 'left' out...

Seb Gotch (son of SAFC coach Brad) gets the vacant spot remaining on the Strikers list due to the death of Phil Hughes. Also provides back up to Tim Ludeman if required.
