He showed some real toughness to do what he did he was unlucky that hit the crack and did what it did. He has certainly earnt the respect of all the Aussies who didn't respect him before this tour by now i would say.

On the pitch. A++ i say any game that goes down to the last two overs is a good one for the game.

What a great test series.

Not many countries would have the pleasure of seeing some of the best test cricket played in the history of the game like we have over the last month or so.

totally agreed, as I said in an earlier post, this is test cricket at it's best, when you look at the series, things turned on a coin from day to day and thats what you want, who says test cricket is dead

Very hard for MOTM, either Siddle, Clarke or Johnson could make a very good case of it.

Duminy or Steyn would be Series equivalent.

Well done Graeme Smith. Last time you came out here you talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk. This time around you left the talking to Ponting and with no Warnie and Pidge we couldn't get you out. When Smith was walking around the ground at the SCG in the last two days people were applauding him. He has not only won the series but he has won the respect of the sporting world. To walk out and bat no handed was a truly inspiring effort.

Well done to the Aussies too, it was important we went on and won this test match. No we can hopefully learn how to convert those good sesssions into good days and those good days into test victories. We have been outplayed in this series but we didn't deserve to lose 3-0. I'm feeling a bit better about the Ashes now. I thought we also looked better without Brett Lee with Siddle surprising me and I thought Bollinger also bowled well despite what Watson's only fan thought.

Job done.
