STOP BLAMING HIM.

I like Pup but his form over the past twelve months has been somewhat disappointing.

if he is injured then he shouldnt be out there.

clarke made some runs, aust didnt need runs, just needed to soak up time

North is on his last legs, Clarke really couldnt be that far behind him

As the Poms would say, this is bang out of order. Pup did soak up time. How about having a look at our current Australian captain who made bugger all once again. Clarke was dead stiff to cop one that bounced in the very last over of the day. He is way off the North situation, 80 yesterday and a ton in his last knock for NSW. As for not needed runs I think you are wrong. If we get ahead every run equals time.

Very harsh mt, very harsh.

 All of a sudden its Clarke's fault that we are loosing  idiots  im sick of reading all the hysteria

The thing is, (and for you un educated cricket lovers posting shite) you are very rarely going to bat for 2 days and not get bowled out, hence you need to score runs and hopefully get a lead of some sort. This forces the opposition to bat time and make the runs, should time still allow. You will also find if you bat to survive you will often get out playing an un natural shot. Best to be confident, slightly defensive and work on not throwing your wicket away. For me, Clarke did all that and was unfortunate to get one that bounced on him (thats cricket).

Don't worry FS, give it til 10:45am and then the blame will be pushed back on Don North.

He made 80 FFS and batted for quite a long time. Ponting, Watson and Katich all made less??

As for him being on his last legs, Its laughable that you think thats correct. In the last two years he has scored 1960 runs at 50.25 with only one really poor tour (That being in India.) Only Simon Katich has scored more and Clarke is one of only two to average over 50. So do some research or at least pretend to watch some cricket before you make these unbelievably naive statements.

Being a little bit precious, if you go back far enough even North has a good record somewhere, Pup's had a lean 12 months, I agree that calling for his axing is a little premature though.

Dont blame clarke. He well and truly did his job yesterday. If the captain had showed half as much guts and determination we wouldnt be in this sutuation. Clarke is still the best batsman in our side and we need him fit and healthy to have any chance this series, hence the reason i think he needed a rest. We cant afford him missing the rest of the series with a crook back

Not watching the game but was this shot as bad as it sounds?

Finn to Hussey, OUT, Finn strikes! The big wicket of Hussey! Banged in short from around the wicket, Hussey tried to fetch the pull shot from around off stump but could only top-edge and send it looping to Anderson at mid-on who took the chance and roared in the direction of the Barmy Army

5/277, North seems to have found some form, currently on 16, might see some runs seeing as though he went in after 200 was on the board.
