Disappointing by the tail. Only had to hang around a few more overs to get it into day 5 and they are trying to tee off

Impressed with Mitch Marsh bowling today, aggressive, good lines and some real pace, was right up with Pattinson in speed, probably his best test performance to date

Yes he was very impressive today, showed alot of promise. When he played for the Scorchers he hit 140 and I was pretty surprised to be honest, glad he was bowling at that pace today, made him a completely different bowler.

It was odd to see Lyon named man of the match instead of one of the century makers, most notably Smith but happy for a bowler to get the award, Lyon was great once again.

The post match stuff happened pretty quickly, channel 9 weren't mucking around. Pattinson took that catch then bang, Lyon is announced as the man of the match then bang, there's Eddie McGuire's fat head on my TV welcoming me to Hotseat.

Called it 6 weeks ago, the Adelaide Test would get more to it than the Boxing Day Test.... well it did for the first 3 days and if it went any longer it would have smashed the total that rocked up over the 4 days in Melbourne.
