AU 5/542 DEC
ROY 50*
GILLY 67*

No wonder Ponting is having a poor batting series, he is under so much
pressure deciding when to declare the innings !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Australia can win this test.

Gilly the first man to hit 100 test sixes today

Michael Clarke you idiot.
If Clark makes 100 [made71] it would be the first time in history the same 3 batsman
would have made 100s collectively in 2 test matches
HUNGRY JAQUES/SIR MICHAEL HUSSEY both have made back to back tons
and that useless CLARK failed by only making 71

Poor MuraliCHUCKERadin
4 tests in Australia and never bowled at the Aussies last

As I have thought and now its confirmed off spin bowlers are not big wicket takers
in Test Matches in this country, wrist spinners are much more successful.

In South Africa CUMMING has a broken jaw from a EIN Steyn thunderbolt

And for those who care Shane Watson is likely to resume in the next QLD game

After that poor effort Clark deserves to be dropped.

For a country the size that they are they're actually not that bad. They've consistently played "above their weight" in 1 day cricket, and their test cricket efforts, whilst not up with the elite countries has always been reasonable apart from their initial years.

His previous 100 in the first test was on a lively pitch
He had to face a rampant Shane Bond and a meticulous Daniel Vettori.
But the attacks he is facing of late are pretty ordinary.

Nup he is generally shite agaisnt us career avg of 58 (57.74) average v Australia 38 (38.32).

Which is why as a batsman I rate him a long way behind Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman, Pietersen etc as they produce against Australia he does not

Then again Tassie there isn't too many batsman these days that average 38 against the Aussies, definately behind Tendulker but I would have him in front of the others you have mentioned. apart from Pietersen, Dravid and Laxman have not produced the goods as such on aussie soil

Locky how quickly you forget Laxman last century in teh test in 2000 at Sydney not to mention both he and Dravid batting in Adelaide last time to set up a win for India in Deceber 2003.

MAte both Dravid and LAxman have produced agaisnt Australia far more that Kallis has
