Smith out for 23 (how many more chances is he going to get?)
Harris out for 10

I think Daniel Harris should go before Smith!

Went down at lunch, saw the final two sessions.

Blizzard was looking ace, but fell just as a half century was in sight. Klinger looked impressive too, but fell in cheap fashion. Too many players got starts but couldn't go on with it.

The George vs Broad/Swann battle was good.

The new grandstand is an absolute masterpiece.

Lookin forward to heading down tomorrow for a couple of quiet ones with mates ;) . With England hopefully looking for quick runs and setting S.A 300 odd in the final 2 sessions. It might be an absolute cracker 8) . It would be very dissapointing if England just use the day for boring and slow batting practice  Have a go you Pommy B*stards!!!

The Poms have said that they are playing every tour match to win rather than just practice (hence playing the test XI rather than gifting Morgan, Bresnan etc games) so I reckon a sporting declaration will be on the cards today. Its a shame the match is a 3 dayer thurs-sat, rather than Fri-Sun. Reckon they would've got a few more through the gate tomorrow. Would be great to see Ferguson crack a run a ball ton to chase down a score, although this test selection talk maybe a bit premature.

And a person I know rolled up late yestrerday with about 45 minutes left b4 stumps
He wanted to drop in to watch a few overs
He was told he had to pay admission to watch this scratch match

He calmly left got in his car and drove off

He should not despair in about 12 days time he can watch a real game of cricket involving England for free from his loungechair

As a young lad working in town
I would look forward to knocking off work, getting to the cricket at Adelaide Oval, catching up with friends to see various games
It was free to get in for the last hour or so
The benefits for the SACA was the beer we drank and the potato chips we ate

Some people cant get to these games mid week as they have to work during the day
To ask the public to pay in this particular match within an hour of stumps is ???
SACA is usually pretty good with these matters, hopefully this is a one off

What is the protocol thesedays
International games tests/ODIs/20/20 games can u get in for free with an hour to go ?
Domestic o/d + 20/20 ?
SS is free all day
Tour games like this one ?

It used to be free entry for the last session of test matches but I think they changed it to stop the idiots coming back in after being thrown out.

I don't think they open the gates until the last ball has been bowled these days.
Go you Redbacks!
