I just couldn't be bothered lol

In a nut shell Cox stated that Maxy asked for release if the SACA couldn't match the 2 year deal that Western Australia had offered. He wanted a 2 year deal as he still aspires to play one day cricket for Australia. He also said it wasn't about money just for higher honours. In terms of guaranteeing selection Maxy was informed no one is guaranteed a spot, form determines the starting line up.

Cox also stated that there was no ill feeling what so ever and even ended with a handshake so I guess someone isn't telling the whole story.

I think Maxy was great for us but as stated many times his 32 the future is in the young lads so I wish Klinger all the best at WA except against SA

For Kensies as a player only, and wont be apart of Emerging Redbacks squad.. had enough apparently.. Was considering not playing at all, but that's highluy unlikely

Interesting..... I think you might find a few players of Browns quality wont commit to the extra ER and PL programs. Which will frustrate Coxy no end :D

Actually there was one other point I just couldn't believe and that was Maxy and Cossie have the same manager!

I found that weird the same bloke getting Cossie in the side is getting Maxy out I guess money is money to managers nothing to do with on field success

Does Cosgrove still have the same manager from when he was given the DCM rom the SACA the first time?

Manager may not have had a say in the matter as he could have been acting on instructions from Klinger. Get me a longer contract from SACA or I'm off to the WACA.....
