WA V SA P/CUP game

First Class Cricket Talk (International and State)

Make that 4/16 after Cosgrove just got bowled by Dorey for a quacker.
Already have the feeling that unless someone pulls off a miracle with the bat that this game is going to have consequences and repercussions.

There is a very good chance we will lose this by an innings despite WA not even scoring 300 in their only bat. What a pathetic performance, the Redbacks are a disgrace.

I will be disgusted if any player is dropped before ELLIOTT
ELLIOTT must go first and we must settle a youthful opener
before 2007/2008.
No wonder BLEWETT is shooting his mouth off at least he
averaged about 30 in his last 2 years...10 higher than ELLIOTT

I in no way dislike Matty but when your times up its up
I have been a fan of his in his Victorian days and its a shame
how he is finishing his career.
Lets remember the 199 at test level
Lets remember the 1381 2nd most runs in a p/cup season
Not whats happening now.

2007/2008

DARREN HARRIS + BEN CAMERON must be kept
JASON BORGAS must be given a few tries
TOMMY PLANT ?????
CAM BORGAS must play next year
CAL FERGUSON ?????how does he get dropped + ELLIOTT stays
NATHAN ADCOCK must be included
BOOF must play and leave SA firing

Hard to argue with that Mal.
They might as well put James Smith in for the remainder of the season to show him what it's going to be all about.

ODB yep must rebuild now
TROUBLE IS THE WAY DARREN HAS CAPTAINED THIS YEAR we started it before a ball
was bowled...batting too low...this that......his example has nearly led to all of this.

SA was considered a better team than VI at the start of the season, VI scored some
wins with commomsense captaining by WHITE then early wins and they are now on a roll.
SA could have as well but for incompetent captaining +selection processes and now look.

Cameron finally out, Ryan Harris comes in and gets a duck. It shows how crap our grade system is... he dominates in club cricket but does **** all for his state.

I just want to reflect on the past two days and focus on the positives .......

TAIT 22.4 overs 5 mdns 43 runs 5 wickets.

That's about it really.

Not sure how Tait is going to get back into the national team if he only gets to bowl once each match.

And I'm not sure how Bailey can improve if he doesn't bowl at all.

SA Cricket needs a total review, from grass roots cricket, the grade cricket structre and the Redback's structure

enough is enough, time to identify some root causes and develop a positive strategy to move forward, most importantly ensure that we have the right people involved at all levels

Yes i agree with that. Selection is also a problem area for the redbacks. But we are all aware of that. I guess we can only wait and see what happens after this dismal showing.
