Should declare to save ourselves the embarrassment of being bowled out for less than 100

6 down. What are the chances of Rogers carrying his bat?

Well he'll only have to bat for another couple of overs so there's every chance

;)

Perfect delivery from Anderson there. Line and length was spot on, just makes it hard to play and if it nips back you are in trouble.

Our hope now is to get to 180 and knock a few over tonight.

Watching the last 3 dismissals I am pretty disappointed.

Standard rear guard fightback required.

I agree if we can get 150-175 on the board the game is far from over

If the Poms had the courage to prepare a deck like this at Lords the series would be as good as done.
Aussies turn into pea hearts when the ball is seaming

I used to like warnes commentary. First heard it on the sky commentary I reckon.

Now he is just one of the chummy idiots with Taylor and Healy chortling about their own careers.

Do you ever remember Chappell lawry benaud et al talk about their own careers? Basically never.

It is bad when Mark Taylor is the most sensible.

Can't work out why we elected to bat first. Clarke says in an interview this morning, whoever wins toss will bowl. What changed?

Warne just said, "terrible conditions to bat". What a surprise!!

When will captains show a bit of courage and elect to bowl first? If we didn't do it today, we never will!

Will be hard to come back from 2-1 down after this test which looks likely now.

Don't worry lads your not out of this, I think your bowlers will be a handful on this track especially hazlewood with his seam movement. If your lower order can get you to 175 you still have a good chance. Mind you your batting line up is awful against seam bowling as is pretty much every country nowadays with the high amount of flat tracks. Is it any suprise that Rogers the guy with the most experience against the seaming ball is doing the best, I don't think so. Australia are the equivalent of what India were 5-10 years ago and that's flat track bullies that can only play on one type of wicket.

Batman is pretty spot on.

I kind of wish Pup had had the courage to say, "you know what Cookie, you can bat, man".
