Ball keeping low. McDermott just got bowled with one that went under his bat.
Get through Paine and Bailey and big chance.

Only 24 wickets fell across the four days. Wicket too flat or attacks not penetrating enough, neither team front line spinner etc?

At least we tried and made a game of it, no harm done, perhaps bat a little quicker if you bat first or don't bat for as long.

It was a good declaration. Gave both teams a genuine chance to win right up until the final overs.

Totally agree, they obviously read this as I suggested they bat for 15 minutes yesterday to try and set 350.

It was very reasonable when you dumb it down, they push 180 at AO in T20's, 300 is about a par score in the 50 over matches so there was something there for everyone.

Yes the declaration set up a One day chase, and later a 20/20 scenario
The difference though is that chasing teams have to try and win in O/D + 20/20
In the longer forms of F/C and Tests , teams can abandon a run chase and seek a draw
You dont see draw options in the exhilarating 20/20 form of cricket ...

Queensland with an outright win with only seven deliveries remaining on day four! Rolled Victoria for 130 to win by 59 runs, Swepson the best of the bowlers taking 3/17, Steketee, Wildernuth and Edwards with two each.
