Our pathetic batting first dig will most likely decide this test.

No doubt at all 136 is dismal but, England's tail is very brittle. Johnson looks 'on' although I'm really surprised there hasn't been more short stuff after them jaffers but it's not all lost for your mob. England are 5 down with bugger all of a lead.

For mine Roots first innings will have a huge bearing on this game.

Since the Phil Hughes death Johnson seems to have lost a fair bit of aggression and seems reluctant to bowl a consistent spell off short and nasty despite it being arguably his most effective method

I'm a massive Starc fan

Yes he is erratic and is struggling to control to red ball, but not being able to control the swing is a pretty handy bad habit to have.

He has most of the big weapons, Yorker, in swing, reverse swing, if he could get some aggression into him he could become anything

IMHO he has the weapons to become a better bowler than Johnson ever has been, whether he fulfills that potentially is another matter.

He is only 25 though

Nevill has done well to keep the byes down!
A few of Starc's deliveries have been 3ft down legside
