Always a risk playing just 4 specialist batsmen.... still at least they can defend that score with 6 bowlers...bah!

Yep, Stokes shouldn't be batting at 5.

NZ 3/175 at stumps, lead by 117. Williamson 91 not out

I wish the tour would end, its been painful other then the one dayers. Was very risky to play stokes as a specialist batter considering he hasn't played first class cricket in 6 months.

Bairstow should be above Stokes you would think? Who's the next selected batsman in the squad? Vince?

After seeing the score at 7/23 I was guessing the pitch was a raging seamer but the watching for a bit, seeing Ali get out due to a poor shot then watching the replays of England's innings the ball wasn't moving around heaps, just enough to have full effect. Kane Williamson is now playing on a different pitch.

Bairstow should be at 5. Hes been terrific the last few years. Stokes has been very good with the bat over the last year and a half so im happy for him to play as a specialist bat but is risky coming off his layoff. Id rather stokes play then vince, vince is the most infuriating player ever. Boult bowled terrificly well and there was some good seeds but the lack of foot movement was terrible. Mooen is shot of confidence with the bat and there is the worry our bowling is so reliant on Anderson still.

Zimbabwe lost to Afghanistan thanks to D/L and now look like missing out on World Cup qualification with the winner of Ireland v Afghanistan taking their spot

18 test match centuries for Kane Williamson, he now has the most for NZ. Rain delay in Auckland, Blackcaps are 3/197.
