Nah, I was backing you up with some stats that are far from flash.
(we are talking about Broad, arent we?)

Sorry mate I should have relised that when you quote an average for of about 50 ;)

And yeah this is broad we are talking about. The young allrounder who would be king.

3rd TEST selection news

- Jaques Kallis has been passed fit to play, despite an injured ring finger
- Steve Harmison has been recalled to the squad, a move that has been called a "quick fix" by South African coach Mickey Arthur. This will result in either Sidebottom, Anderson or Broad making way for him, with stan's mate Ryan Broad the favourite

England have come out and named their Eleven 24 hours prior to the 3rd Test starting to avoid any selection issues that they faced prior to the last test. Steve Harmison was not named in the final eleven, but his Durham team mate Paul Collingwood was recalled, along with the fit Ryan Sidebottom. Stuart Broad, along with Darren Pattinson are heading back to County cricket.

The match against Bangladesh A may prove to be costly with captain Graeme Smith battling a back injury ahead of the third test. This is after the injury scare of Jacques Kallis, who was forced to retire hurt with a finger injury, while playing against Bagladesh A

Interesting that Flintoff was Englands best bowler. Still think he must take the new ball and really have a crack at the SA top order. Flintoff and probably Sidebottom are the best option. I think its an interesting team. They have chosen 3 front line quicks, a spiner and a Piece of shite medium pacer.

Anyway I thought Broad would have held his spot - Even though I bagged him pretty hard for the last week or so. But still he was probably one of there better performing batsmen.

Not surprised at the result at the end of day 2. SA to look to build a decent lead up.

From what I've seen, SA's own Steve Davis has done a good job in this Test. Ok, a decision was given out caught when there didn't appear to be an edge, but an LBW decision would have been justified anyway.

And as I type, Andre Nel has two stumps taken out of the ground by Sidebottom.

From what I saw, Nel tried to fire him up, but KP was not interested.

1 down and 9 to go, McKenzie must have had a brain freeze there. Steve Davis had the easiest lbw decision ever.
