He was a fantastic bowler, didn't have Warnie's control but he would really rip the ball and his record speaks for itself.

Yep good point...plus his missus is hot too !! :wink:

He has been our best batsmen since his recall in the West Indies and he isn't going anywhere. He's not the most fashionable player but who cares. It not how it's how many.

As for MacGill well you are spot on. He bowled some bad balls but his record speaks for itself. If only we had a guy capapble of taking 200 Test wickets at a strike rate of 52 or thereabouts right now.

Of course I need to defend the Kat, he doesn't wear a Red cap.

He's still batting well above his average though. Not as far above his average as Bracken but still.

Johnson's = 10.00
Brackens = 9.8.

There's no loser between those 2 blokes!

My side for first test

1. Hayden
2. Katich
3. Ponting
4. Clarke
5. M.Hussey
6. Symonds or D.Hussey or Marsh
7. Ronchi or Payne or Haddin
8. Casson or Krejza
9. Lee
10. Johnson or Bollinger
11. Hilfy or Geeves or Siddle

I think clark test carreer may be in limbo with Ausie might want blood some younger players. Haddin spot is just hanging by thread because think there a better keepers with better set of hands like manou who hasn't got enough runs on the board yet. I think payne is the perfect because he can grind and innings and is a good keeper. Aussies may go with Casson instead because Aussie conditions are suited more to a wrist spinner or go out with 4 fast bowlers and play symo as a spinner with a hand from clarke and katich. For watson in the paer they rated in a 5 but though it was mor like 3.5 because he didn't score enough run for number 6 batsman. White may unlucky because he got in a situation which he shouldn't be hookes regarded him as good batsman that can bowl a little. May be White may be better number 6 than watson. In my views I think White atted well in the last two tests and had bad one in the second like rest of his mates.

marsh was there at 6 because I don't think he is a opener for the longer form, he is there with symonds and D Hussey.

MaGoffin is not a good bowler struggled against the redbacks, Hodge is to old start to bring in players that is in the 20's, harris need to do the same for another year to be considered, noffke only play as 4th bowler if they want to go with 4 fast bowls and symonds. Young batsman from nsw is in front of rogers at the moment. jewel :lol: :lol: :lol:
