I am a bit concerned that Dave Warner will be ruined by the 20/20 phenomenon. He's been talked up so much by his one day domestic and 20/20 performances but he is yet to play a first class game. The guy has so much talent and i'd just hate to see him think he needs to slog all the time. He is better than that and has every shot in the book. If he gets carried away thinking he needs to play a certain way then it might spoil what could potentially be a good career in the real version of the game. I'd like to see him picked in the NSW shield side and told to become a real cricketer rather than just a slogger.

I was just thinking RR, how long will it be before Countries just coach players to play 20/20 specifically, very sad if it happens but hell from what i have seen in 3 overs, this kid can bat 24 off of 10

The guy can play and it would be a real shame if he is pigeon holed as a limited overs specialist because he is better than that. Warner should be encouraged to play the longer form of the game because that is what really matters and he has so much talent.
