Hopefully they all head to their home ground tonight and learn how to stand up, take a punch and be counted instead of always going down for the count

When are our batsman going to learn how to occupy the crease rather than trying to get it over with ASAP?
We had 5 and a bit sessions to chase 200 and we are trying to win it before tea today. We lasted 91 overs for the whole game yet WA batted for 138 overs!
The worst part is we would of gone top with a win and still have some breathing space and now we will be more than likely sitting fourth after tomorrow

Agree with this comment a lot, all our batsmen seem to want to score so quickly, how about getting yourself in and taking your time. Last time we played QLD, Renshaw was 17 off 95 balls, saw off the new ball, still made century off 200 balls. Cowan for NSW this match made a patient double ton. I know Siddons likes attacking cricket, but to face only 90 overs in a match is disgraceful batting.

That's the modern game, 20/20 mentality. Hit your way out of trouble, the same mentality that will root the techniques of the young kids coming through the system.

I have no problem with going hard early at a smallish total but you have to be able to adjust when you go 3 down quickly and then just grind it out with a plan. The longer you bat the more tired and despondent the bowlers will get also.

So what changes do Redbacks make for the game against Victoria on Friday?

Head and Zampa both come in, maybe for Grant and Ross?

Did Valente do enough? Will Weatherald get suspended by Grade Cricket report?

Ferguson obviously under the pump but think no chance of them dropping him, they will back him in. Terrible run out just summed up his last few months!

They have basically played attacking cricket since Siddons took over
Finished top after the regular Sheffield Shield season in 2015/2016
Currently 2nd on the Sheffield Sheild ladder this season , so they have done very well

This match was low scoring for both teams , perhaps the Duke cricket ball was a factor for the small totals in all innings

Whilst true and commendable, it doesn't excuse the result. Particularly how they struggled to clean up the tail in either innings.
