I hope SA bat all day and Ferguson, Head, Lehmann can score big runs. Can't see this pitch producing a result - it's flat as a tack.

If Handscomb is dropped, Maxwell deserves to be next in line, but my gut tells me they may look to Mitch Marsh to bat 6, bump Shaun to 4, especially at the WACA where his mediums probably more valuable than Maxwell's offies.

Steve Smith not batting 4?
Only thing that may happen is Shaun.Marsh goes to 5,Maxwell 6.

Ferguson bowled by Labuschagne for 59

SA 4/165

Get on board the live stream though, Lehmann is in and my gut feel is he will have a license on this flat track to do whatever he wants.. expect fireworks.

Mitch Marsh is a certainty IMO, they will want a medium for Perth

Are we gonna declare soon? Running out of time to dismiss them.

Would rather lose trying, Queensland aren't going to be vying for a spot in the final later in the season.

Doubt it, pitch is a joke. Declaring would be a waste of time and just gift QLD a few hours of batting practise.

Well it's the admirable thing to do, or go get on the piss.

Are they allowed to call stumps early these days if no result is possible?
