Amazing stuff. Boof has 1/19 off 7.

Apparently Dizzy has been super-subbed out because his wife is expecting a baby so good luck to them both!

Have I said that Lehmann is a Legend? 8)

Due to us winning twice against Victoria, all we need to do is be equal on points against Victoria, and we're in the final.

So, if we win, Victoria will need the 2 bonus points to overtake us.

I just got back from Adelaide Oval and it was a good win by the Redbacks (and the bonus point too 8) )
the bowlers did a good job to restrict Vic to 222 with 4 wickets to Tait, he bowled fast, although a bit wayward at times (about 6 wides) but did take wickets and also did keep the run rate down, 4-32
Dizzy bowled well after his first 2 overs went for 20 and he ended up with 2 wickets
Cullen Bailey took 3 wickets and Boof was tight as usual as well as getting one wicket

the batting was good, Deitz and Blewett did not hang around long but enough to help Cosgrove get settled, Cosgrove batted well and reached his 50 from 39 balls but as a previous poster mentioned, he did get stuck but was also trying to push the rate along at the same time as the bonus point was in range
and how good is Lehmann, he turned it on at the end to ensure the Redbacks got the bonus point, he finished with 80 not out off 73 balls, after reaching his 50 with a 6 from 56 balls, LEGEND 8)

Cameron White showed what a hack bowler he is, 2 overs for 18
Ponting wouldnt bowl him and now he wont even bowl himself much

It's great to smash the VICS

It was an unbelievable conclusion. After South Australia needed 44 runs off four overs to claim a bonus point, the magic of Darren Lehmann stepped in - six boundaries and a six within 20 balls - propelling the Redbacks to second position and a point above Victoria on the table with one round to go.

Mark Cosgrove continues to go from strength to strength. Another solid score - 89 from 90 balls. He was dropped earlier and started to look a slightly bit scratchy when in the 80s. He looked considerably pissed walking back the sheds, and no real surprise really - he had a golden chance to secure three ING Cup tons in the same season.

Bringing Manou up the order in the role of the pinch hitter he plays so well, was a brilliant decision also by Boof. Soon as that happened, the crowd realised we were going for that bonus point.

On a low note, Deitz once again failed. Although the Vics bowled quite well in their opening spell, Deitz continued to block and parry in a frustratingly slow session.

I think the heat should be put on Blewett, not Deitz. He has not made a Pura Cup hundred for ages and as usual is living off the fact that he played test cricket 8 years ago. It shows in his everyday persona and quite frankly my dear I dont give a damn!
