Ok, so this was against Sri Lanka, but this score back then would have been worth nearly 400 now.

I was there that day - was a corker of a day at the cricket. AO was jumping!

Obviously yellow material was on special that summer.

Thanks for that Dinga - I still recall the crowd reaction when DC Boon came on for a bowl!

Yeah i was at that game. Jones unlucky to finish up on 99, i think he and AB stuffed up their running between wickets somehow which cost him the ton.

They ran for a bye on the last ball, which was called wide after they had run. You can see how pissed off Jones was when they called in the youtube clip.

9 days earlier, Sri Lanka beat Australia for the first time in ODIs. Rumesh Ratnayake took four wickets, all bowled and he also hit the stumps a fifth time, only that was a no-ball.

Without looking at the footage, i think that game was in Tasmania.

I still remember that match and my mum taking me to it. Such great memories of the Moerton Bay Fig Trees and many summer days spent under them watching the cricket and playing against anyone that you could convince to have a hit.

Steve Smith!

Also Jones' six to mid-wicket. Huge hit, don't see that too often.
