I was on a flight from Luxor to London and was very homesick when thrilled that there was a world sport wrap up that had cricket highlights on the inflight entertainment .Not sure which ground it was but it was a home ashes series and Steve Waugh century highlight clip which followed a shot to the crowd cheering complete with a banner reading"Thank god for Sickies"I totally pissed myself laughing out loud turning about 20 heads with my headphones still on not realizing I had done it so loud...that will win it for me forever.

Not a banner, but that line reminds me of a time in the early 1980's when we had to phone the West Torrens team into the paper. Our C Grade team consisted of Alan Suck, Ossie Moore, Nick Brown and Nick Cock. Someone set up the person phoning the team through to the paper so that the last four names were 'Suck, Moore, Brown, Cock'.

Wouldn't mind it if it was just the odd witty banner but all this Bob Neil crap really shits me. All anyone from uni can do is talk about him. Even on the law school toilets, Bob Neil would destroy Gandalf.

Easy way to destroy a good joke.

A lot of thought went into them and they were quite witty.
But the one that stuck in my mind was paraded around the ground by two Aussies that was simple yet brilliant......

And WattoooooOO! I'm watching the replay and . He flat bats one into the crowd and one spectator misjudges the catch and it scones him. Then a couple of minutes later, he is holding up a sign which says "Ouch"
