Sounds awesome. If we get to see some decent sides.

CA will probably announce the following:

World Cup Matches @ Adelaide Oval

Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe
Namibia vs Scotland
Canada vs Netherlands

Last I heard the expectation was that Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka would collaborate and the pressure to play in the subcontinent would more than likely be too great to deny their bid ...

I recall them saying last time the World Cup was played here, that it would be the last- not sure who had the authority to say that, maybe it was just an opinion of the time. I think it may have had something to do with the fact of it being in an "unfriendly" timezone- ratings would not be good o/s, but I can't be a 100% sure.

And the fact that a few countries rate us (the fans) as the worst in the world or close to it. So that would also be taken into account. But christ a World cup on the sub-cont. Bloody hard to win one there.

We won't get the World Cup because we are a bunch of Rednecks. And George W Wuss can restrict his Grand Final references to 1984 and 1997.
