I know it's a dead match (in that South Africa can't win series) and all, but the last match in the 3 match series starts tonight (Friday).

We could be in trouble here boyos. Smith isn't playing and our mental mastery of the Yarpies captain has been a big edge for us in the last five tests. Not only will his replacement score more runs but Kallis might actually have a clue tactically.

Yes, I'm a little bewildered the selectors didn't take this opportunity to have a look at Tait in Test Match conditions, but I guess they are obligated to play the 11 players they deem the best available.

that would have to be the first time someone has retired hurt off the first ball of an innings?? very rare indeed

Considering Langer's height, the ball must've been just short of a length!

I'm amazed that this ball took Langer by surprise, he should have been expecting it. He usually gets at least one short one early in his innings, expecially in the first 2-3 balls. Not a great idea to take your eye off the ball for any reason. I just hope he is okay and able to bat on day 3, we are going to need him.

Aussies still in with a good chance here, good innings by Hussey.. but we need to atleast bring it back to par terms.

Too bad for Langer, should have seen it coming.. but couldn't react in time, ah that's cricket.
