well just when smithy thought nz would be a push over at 6 for 89
at the end of day nz had overtaken sa first innings.... nz all out for 327 oram133 vettori 81 (7th wicket p/ship 183)

sa are 0 for 4 at stumps

It seems to be the way Test Cricket is being played of late. The top order fails and then the middle order and tail end batting makes a bulk of the runs. Good effort by New Zealand, it will be interesting to see what South Aftica can do to get back into the game.
